Moments from the week

A week of aviation at its best

Hundreds of thousands of aviation enthusiasts converged on Wittman Regional for a week of arrivals, air shows, forums, and late-night hangar talk — the world's largest aviation celebration lived up to the billing.

Fisk arrivals kept the tradition alive

Pilots flew the world-famous VFR arrival to Runway 18/36, rocking wings over the railroad tracks. The KOSH community's live chatter helped fellow arrivals stay on top of holds, spacing, and pattern shifts.

Boeing Plaza & the daily air show

The daily afternoon shows and the Wednesday and Saturday night shows drew massive Boeing Plaza crowds. Warbirds, jet teams, and homebuilts shared the sky.

Camp Scholler came alive

From first-timer newbies to 40-year veterans, Camp Scholler was its own city all week — coffee at dawn, movies at the Fly-In Theater, and neighbors trading tips at every campsite.

Homebuilts, warbirds, vintage & ultralights

Every corner of the field had its people — Homebuilt HQ, Warbird Alley, Vintage Row, and the Ultralight strip all pulled steady crowds and told great stories.

The community carried KOSH

Thousands of visitors asked KOSH questions, corrected our misses, and shared insider tips. Every one of those made the next answer sharper. Thank you.
