By accessing, signing up for, or using Ask KOSH (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Ask KOSH Is
Ask KOSH is an independent, unofficial AI-powered companion for attendees and fans of EAA AirVenture. It is provided for general informational and entertainment purposes only.
3. Independence & Non-Affiliation
Ask KOSH is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), AirVenture, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Wittman Regional Airport, or any airport, government, or event authority. Aerista is a presenting sponsor only — Aerista is not the operator, publisher, or provider of this Service and has no responsibility for the Service or its content. All third-party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
4. No Warranty & AI Limitations
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The Service uses artificial intelligence, which can produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. We make no guarantee that any output is correct or current.
5. Not Operational, Flight, or Emergency Guidance
Nothing provided by the Service constitutes flight planning, dispatch, navigation, air traffic control, NOTAM, weather, medical, safety, or emergency guidance. Always verify time-sensitive and safety-critical information with official EAA, FAA, and other authoritative sources, and rely on your own training and judgment. In an emergency, contact the appropriate authorities directly.
6. Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on the Service, and for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and event rules. You agree not to misuse the Service, disrupt or attempt to disrupt it, submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, scrape or reverse-engineer it, or impersonate any person. We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion.
7. User Submissions
Tips, feedback, and other content you submit are your responsibility, and you confirm you have the right to share them. By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content to operate and improve the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and its providers, operators, partners, and sponsors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, personal injury, property damage, or death, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
