Arrival & Getting Around AirVenture 2026
The grounds are big and hot. Knowing which gate, which tram color, and which shuttle saves you the two things nobody has enough of at Oshkosh — time and feet.
Driving in — the clean route
From I-41 Exit 113, east on WI 26 / County Road N, left on Poberezny Road, about 1.8 miles to the Camp Scholler gates. That's the cleanest approach and the one EAA points people to.
Express Arrival for pre-purchased camping runs through the Gray Lot, July 15–19. Regular Camper Registration hours expand to 6 a.m.–11 p.m. during peak arrival days.
Gates and hours
Most main gates — Main Camper Registration, Schaick/Knapp, West, and several others — run 24 hours. The South Gate is limited to 5:30 a.m.–11 p.m.
Check the 2026 Restricted Area Map if you're arriving between July 16 and July 19 — some public areas are red-marked and closed for pre-show setup.
On-site trams and buses
This is the network you'll actually use:
- Red and Blue routes: 6:30 a.m.–11 p.m., Monday–Saturday. Reduced Sunday hours.
- Yellow, Purple, and Express routes: 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
They connect Camp Scholler, the convention grounds, the museum, KidVenture, North 40, South 40, and the terminal area.
KOSH tip: every route includes at least one ADA-accessible vehicle.
Uber, Lyft, and off-site shuttles
Four designated Uber/Lyft pickup and drop-off points, including S Lot and Knapp/County N. South 40 also has its own dedicated pickup zone now.
- Target shuttle: Bus Park → Red One Market West → Target, 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., July 17–26. Perfect for a grocery run.
- Seaplane shuttle: $5 round trip, Monday–Saturday, from Bus Park and the Ultralights area.
City GO Transit ($2 regular fare) exists as a fallback for off-ground errands — not your main AirVenture circulation plan.
